This Tiffany Studios Abalone desk set was made by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) introduced Desk Sets at the Corona, New York factory in the late 1890’s and 20 different desk set patterns were produced in the 25 years since. Each desk set comprised of numerous different items with some patterns having more pieces than others. Early Tiffany desk sets are stamped Tiffany Furnaces factory and later Tiffany Studios New York. The Tiffany desk set patterns are the following:
