This unique tribal weapon is a headhunter's mandau knife set made and used by the Dayak people living in Borneo (Kalimantan in Indonesian), Indonesia.  This mandau knife was used in the headhunting ceremony, where after tribes attached other tribes, they gathered the heads of their enemies to be used in various festivities.  The Mandau knife is both a work of art in itself and a weapon. It consists of a long knife with a dear horn for the handle which is carved ornately and strands of hair (human?).  The scabbard is made of two pieces of wood bound together with rattan and other natural vegetation.  The smaller knife fitted to a long wooden stick which is also decorated, was used to take out the brain out of the skull and other soft tissue of the head as well as sharpening, carving and other general use. A beautiful and rare Spanish Mountain Hunting Knife (Cuchillo de Monteria) or dagger in very good condition WITH it's elaborate scabbard, making it an even rarer find! This Spanish hunting knife has a spearpoint, or leaf, shaped double edged blade and central spine.  The blade has been etched, on both sides, with very intricate hunting scenes where a man with a rifle can be seen tracking and shooting game with his dog and bordered with foliage and arabesques decorations. The ricasso is marked FAB ca DE TOLEDO close to the S shaped steel crossguard.  The handle is made of a slightly curved section of red deer antler.  The scabbard is made of leather with silver fitting and also etched with intricate detailed decorations and of animals such as deer, hunting dogs and rabbits. This is a beautiful and rare Spanish hunting knife dated to the mid 18th century that is very hard to find with its original scabbard.

Deep dive knife by Siebe Gorman & Company London 1910.  This specialty knife is made of brass or bronze with a bakelite hilt used by British deep sea divers.  Made by the Siebe Gorman company that specialized in maritime engineering and diving equipment such as diving helmets, breathing apparatuses and others. This rare deep sea diver knife is in very good condition, showing the crest of the manufacturer which not all models feature.  The other side of the hilt read: "Siebe Gorman and Co. Ltd. Or best offer Saint Barbara was an early Christian martyr worshiped by mainly Catholics who face danger of sudden and violent death at work.  She is the patron saint of artillery and explosives professions, armorers and gunsmiths, military engineers, miners and tunnelers.  This statue of Saint Barbara features the main items associated with her story: the three windowed tower, a cannon and a branch. This statue of Saint Barbara is one of two known to be made as a special commissioned work for the Czech Skoda company.  Skoda started in 1859 as an arms manufacturing company, later a producer of bicycles, motorcycles, cars and trucks.  During World War 2 and Nazi Germany's occupation of Czechoslovakia, the Skoda factory was under control of Reichswerke Hermann Göring and served as producers of artillery parts, aircraft, firearms and ammunition components.  This statue is thought to be presented to the Nazi officers who controlled the company in 1942.  The statue is said to be made of artillery grade metal. The small plaque at the base reads: Skodawerke Pilsen, Kreigsjahr 1942. It is in excellent condition. The katar is a punch or push dagger that was used mainly in southern India.  In battle it was used as an armor piercing close combat weapon to punch through chain mail and in civilian life it was worn mainly by nobles who would hunt tigers with the katar (usually one in each hand) to prove their manhood and bravery. This katar has the characteristic V-shaped blade and H-shaped handles.  It is made of steel and silver on the scabbard which is usually hard to find.  It was made around the 1920's or a bit before. British Royal Infantry Officer’s Sword Pattern 1822

This is a rare British 1822 pattern sword from the short reign of King George IV (1820-1830) as can be seen in the royal emblem on the guard.  It is made with the distinctive Gothic hilt with fold down guard and a grip of fishskin wrapped with brass twisted wire.  These swords tend to be more delicate than other models with the folding down guard usually broken or missing.  The maker, Salter was the main sword manufacturer of that time, the blade etched with King George the Forth's emblem or crest.  This is one of the earliest pattern 1822 swords. This British royal infantry officer’s sword pattern 1822 from the reign of King George IV is in overall good condition with a slightly stained blade and in tact leather scabbard.
