M2 Browning Tripod Mount

Original WW2 U.S. military issue M2 Browning tripod with original U.S. military issue T&E and original U.S. military issue pintle for the M1919 0.30 caliber machine gun.  These original M2 tripod is from Israeli military surplus, probably given by the US to the IDF probably during the 1960’s and 1970’s.  Some of these have very low serial numbers.

These M2 Browning tripod features a brass socket for the pintle and fully functional legs, cross bar and welded feet. It is complete, functional and in good condition. The pintle comes complete with the cross pin and castle nut, with cotter pin still installed.  The pintle and T&E are still wrapped in their original papers.

These Israeli military surplus U.S. M2 tripods are available from a variety of manufacturers such as: Appliance Mfg Co. , Lovel Mfg Co. and others.

Shipping cost to the US by EMS is about $200 for each item.  This will include a tracking number and insurance.  Shipping will be charged separately after receiving the order.  Shipping available worldwide.

Price DOES NOT include delivery.  If in Israel then price will appear with the 17% VAT.  A separate cost will be sent for shipping this item.  Cost will depend on the client's address, weight and/or volume of the package.

The Dahlgren bowie knife bayonet is a Civil War era Union US Navy bayonet designed by Admiral John Dahlgren for use with the Plymouth/Whitneyville Model M1861 Rifle, and made by the Ames Manufacturing Company of Chicopee Massachusetts.  The Dahlgren Bowie bayonet's new design's intention was to replace the then-standard sword length bayonet with a more maneuverable bayonet for Navy purposes such as close quarters combat in ships, boarding actions, shore landings, and others and for use as either a traditional bayonet or a hand held edged weapon bulky enough to defend against swords and the heavy rifles used at the time. This Dahlgren Navy bowie bayonet is one of only 1800 produced between 1861-1864, and this item is marked as produced in 1862. Comes with an unoriginal scabbard. Markings: On ricasso: Side 1: USN D.R 1862. "D.R" initials are of the military inspector at the Ames plant, Daniel Reynolds. An antique Indian Nepalese Gurkha Kukri knife made with intricate metalwork of decorative beads and white metal (maybe silver) with a beautiful design of two angels, flowers and other shapes on the leather scabbard covered with red velvet.  The handle is made of yak or ox bone and is decorated as well.  metal filigree and bead decorated leather scabbards dating from the 19th century. The knives have quality hand forged single edge very sharp steel curved blades mounted with ox bone handles and accompanied with two smaller similar handled sharpening knives.  The scabbard shows very well the hand stitching and has two straps that would have connected this Gurkha kukri knife to a belt. The blade is in excellent condition and is marked: "Tempered Steel/Made In India" It is probably made in the late 19th century to early 20th century. Or best offer Saint Barbara was an early Christian martyr worshiped by mainly Catholics who face danger of sudden and violent death at work.  She is the patron saint of artillery and explosives professions, armorers and gunsmiths, military engineers, miners and tunnelers.  This statue of Saint Barbara features the main items associated with her story: the three windowed tower, a cannon and a branch. This statue of Saint Barbara is one of two known to be made as a special commissioned work for the Czech Skoda company.  Skoda started in 1859 as an arms manufacturing company, later a producer of bicycles, motorcycles, cars and trucks.  During World War 2 and Nazi Germany's occupation of Czechoslovakia, the Skoda factory was under control of Reichswerke Hermann Göring and served as producers of artillery parts, aircraft, firearms and ammunition components.  This statue is thought to be presented to the Nazi officers who controlled the company in 1942.  The statue is said to be made of artillery grade metal. The small plaque at the base reads: Skodawerke Pilsen, Kreigsjahr 1942. It is in excellent condition.
