The carpet seller is one of a series of similar statues of middle eastern Arab figures from the start of the 20th century made in Austria by Franz Bergmann. The sculptures are made of cold-painted bronze with vibrant colors. This sculpture is of an Arab carpet seller presenting his carpet to a potential customer that might have been passing by him in the busy bazar market.

Warsaw Ghetto is a cast bronze brutalist style sculpture by Kenneth Treister, architect of the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach in Florida.  The sculpture is a depiction of the famous photograph in which the last surviving Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising were taken out of a bunker and surrendered to the Nazi troops.  The Warsaw Ghetto uprising occurred from the 19th of April to the 16th of May 1943, in which about 13,000 Jews were killed and German casualties were 150.  The photograph has been one of the most iconic depicting the Holocaust and one of the most influential in the 20th century. This Warsaw Ghetto sculpture by Kenneth Treister is of the first and original batch of bronze plaques signed in the back and is 122/150 made on August 1969. L'Armurier or The Arm's Maker by Henryk Kossowski Jr. is a beautiful French bronze sculpture depicting a swordsmith inspecting his work and wondering about its quality.  The statue is beautifully cast and detailed as were many of the works done at the Siot-Decauville and sculpted by Henryk Kossowski Jr. who was active during the years of 1880-1915.  This swordsmith sculpture is featured in the book “Bronzes: Sculptors and Founders, Vol. II“ on page 379, where it is identified as “L'Armurier“ or “The Arm's Maker“. It is bronze with golden gild and shown with the edge of his work bench and clamp beside his leg.  The sword itself is in tact, which in many cases is either broken or missing. The sculpture is signed by the artist in the base "H. Kossowski" and marked by the Siot-Decauville foundry "II 251". Hansen by Major General Tran Van Minh, commander of the VNAF (South Vietnam Air Force).  Nguyen Thanh Le was a Vietnamese artisan, graduate of the Bien Hoa Fine Arts School, who sold her sculptures and other works of art to mainly military personnel from a shop on Thu Do Street in the former Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City.  These works later found their way to the US and France as military personnel went back home. This Laotian woman bust of a young woman shows her beautiful features, unique hair style and ornate earrings. Gaulois by Adolphe Jean Lavergne bronze sculpture of ancient Celtic warrior.  This bronze sculpture of a Gaul warrior, features the Celtic fighter with his helmet, holding his sword in one hand and a leaf in another, axe hanging from his belt and a fur garment covering his groin.  A beautiful depiction of this ancient French Celtic warrior by French sculptor Adolphe Jean Lavergne (1852-1901).  This warrior might be a depiction of Vercingetorix (80 – 46 BC) the Gallic king and chieftain of the Arverni tribe who united the Gauls in a failed revolt against Roman forces during the last phase of Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars.  After surrendering to Caesar and spending almost six years in prison, he was executed in Rome. The Dying Gaul sculpture is an ancient Roman marble statue now in the Capitoline Museum in Rome and it is a copy of a now lost sculpture from the Hellenistic period (323-31 BC) thought to have been made in bronze and may have been commissioned at some time between 230 and 220 BC by Attalus I of Pergamon to celebrate his victory over the Galatians, the Celtic or Gaulish people of parts of Anatolia (modern Turkey).  The original sculptor is believed to have been Epigonus, a court sculptor of the Attalid dynasty of Pergamon.  The sculpture of the Dying Gaul is also called The Dying Gladiator, The Dying Galatian, Galata Morente in Italian. The sculpture is beautiful in details showing the bleeding wound of the gladiator in his right side ribs from a sword, the veins in his arms, his hair and his overall musculature.
