A French Trib pocket watch and a Prussian display stand commemorating the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871 featuring two kneeling captured French soldiers on each side with broken flags and spears as sign of defeat. This unique pocket watch stand features five major places of significant battles during the war: Weissens (Weissembourg), Worth, Metz, Sedan, Strassburg, Paris with the German Iron Cross at the bottom. The French Trib pocket watch is in working condition and dates to the early 20th century, around 1920's. The pocket watch is hung on on a small hook from a lion's head, a wreath with 1871 in it, and fits into a larger circular wreath where the watch rests.
A rare and unique piece of history featuring a commemorative plaque presented to Marshall Ferdinand Foch, the Supreme Allied Commander during the First World War, and Georges Clemenceau, Prime Minister and Minister of War during the war. The plaque shows all of the characteristics of World War One such as the trench warfare, airplanes and zeppelins first used in battle, firearms, helmets and digging tools. In the center is a French soldier holding a flag that is being kissed by a woman, maybe representing the gratefulness of the French nation to its brave fighters. The plaque was presented as part of the Law of November 17th 1918, that was established to pay national tribute to the armies and their leaders who participated in World War One, the war to end all wars. The writing in the center translates to:

An Ottoman artillery cannon brass coat of arms with the Turkish tughra of either Sultan Mehmed V (reign: 1909-1918) or Sultan Mehmed VI, the last Sultan of the Ottoman empire, ruling from 1918 t0 1922 when the Ottoman empire was dissolved and the Republic of Turkey was established. The tughra is a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of a sultan that was affixed to all official documents and items such as coinage. Each Sultan had his own tughra which was designed during the beginning of his reign by his court calligrapher. This brass coat of arms or crest was affixed to an artillery canon and is now secured to a wooden base with eight brass pins. The crest is intricately made featuring flags, spears, swords, revolvers, books, flowers and a shield in the center. Dimensions 19cm x 13cm including the base (7.5 x 1.18 inches)
An Antique early 20th century German blacksmith bronze sculpture beautifully made showing the blacksmith swinging his hammer towards the anvil which is set on a chopped tree truck. The iron piece on the anvil that is being hammered is made loose and comes out. This blacksmith sculpture was given as an award or gift according to the plaque on the base written: Jhrem allverehrten Paul Siele zum 1. A set of three Thephanom statues made of bronze and covered in gold leaf. In Thai Buddhist mythology the Thephanom are angels or deities who are temple protectors and guardians. The Thepanom first came to earth when Buddha reached enlightenment becoming his protector, guardians of religious temples and artifacts such as scrolls. This is a rare display of an 1899 advertisement poster from the theatre play Jeanne D'Arc played by French stage actress Sarah Bernhard, at one point in time she was considered the most famous actress in the world, and illustrated by Swiss artist Eugene Grasset, credited in introducing the Art Nouveau style to the United States. The display features from left to right the black and white plate, the brass printing plate and the advertisement itself in full color. This is a rare and unique find since these items are hardly sold together. The plaque at the bottom reads: Jeanne D'Arc - 1899 Vintage French Poster - Gicle'e Print This vintage French poster is an example of "Affiche Artistic", advertising Sarah Bernhardt's performance in Jeanne D'Arc. A beautiful set of two bronze plaques commemorating the battle of Mulhouse also called the Battle of Alsace, which began on 7 August 1914 and was the opening attack of the First World War by the French Army against Germany. The Germans counter attacked days later making the French leave the city on the 11th of August. The plaques feature A French officer kissing an Alsatian young woman in traditional dress who throws herself in his arms. In the background the French infantry are charging and on the right a fallen panel inscribed with DEUTSCHES REICH. The plaques are signed on the left: Joe Descomps SCR, A Chambin Editeur, and on the right Georges Scott, 8 Aout (August) 1914. One of the plaques is on a large wooden frame and the other plaque is on a wooden desk stationary pad with 1914-1918 shown on the bottom. The Liberator sculpture by Yevgeny Vuchetich, featuring the idealistic Soviet liberator warrior with his sword pointed to the ground symbolizing the end of combat, holding in his other arm a baby girl symbolizing the future, and stepping on a broken swastika symbolizing the defeat of Nazi Germany. The Liberator statue is located in the central monument at the Soviet WW II Cemetery and Memorial in Berlin-Treptow, Germany. Almost 5000 soldiers and officers who died during the battles for Berlin are buried next to the bulk mound. It is a bronze sculpture 11 meters tall (36 feet), weighing 63 metric tons (70 US tons) made by famous Soviet sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and dedicated on May 8, 1949, the 4th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi-Germany. The Motherland Calls or in literal translation from Russian: Homeland-Mother Is Calling! is a statue of a woman stepping forward with a raised sword representing the Soviet or Russian Motherland calling on its sons and daughters to repulse the enemy and return to the attack. This Soviet era sculpture which started construction in May 1959 and completed on 15 October 1967 is the compositional center of the monument-ensemble "Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad" on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd, Russia. It was designed by sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and structural engineer Nikolai Nikitin, and declared the tallest statue in the world in 1967 when complete. At 85 m (279 ft), it is the tallest statue in Europe, the tallest outside of Asia and the tallest statue (excluding pedestals) of a woman in the world. This Motherland Calls sculpture by Yevgeny Vuchetich is a beautiful representation of Soviet art with an art nuevo twist. Israeli military M15 gas masks - unissued Israeli military surplus M15 gas masks with the distinctive triangular eye lenses. These Israeli M15 gas masks come with the type 80 NBC filter canister and drinking tube, all originally wrapped and sealed. The filters will last approximately 8 hours in an NBC contaminated environment. It includes an integrated speech diaphragm as well as a side voice emitter to talk effectively with a phone. The drinking tube attachment to the included straw which connects to a canteen. The M15 gas mask is fully adjustable with five elastic straps that connect to a head harness for ultimate protection and comfort. The triangular lenses are made out of impact-resistant plastic and are compatible with prescription lenses using a frame mount assembly. A Welsh hunting bowie knife made by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield. The handle is made of stag horn and has what appears to be the Prince of Wales coat of arms.
