Bell Commemorating The Scuttling of the WW1 German Fleet

A bronze silver plated bell commemorating the scuttling of the WW1 German fleet at Scapa Flow off the Scotland shore.  Rear German Admiral von Reuter, command of the fleet, ordered his soldiers to deliberately sink all ships rather then have the Allies use them on 21 June 1919.  His crews opened seacocks, torpedo tubes and portholes on the ships to flood them and once again hoisted their flags of the Imperial German Navy. The bell is engraved with the German iron cross and the words: The lord of hosts is with us (psalms 46:7). The full incident can be read at the Imperial War Museum website. Iron Plaque of Commemorating the Deutsche Legionendenkmal 1803-1816 King's German Legion which fought in the Napoleonic wars. The plaque has the following writing: Iron plaque "Legionendenkmal" 1803-1816 Cast iron memorial war plaque for the Deutsche Legion (King's German Legion) Which was formed in 1803 to fight in the Napoleonic Wars. A relief sculpture of a horse rearing above a defeated enemy - the fallen man Has lifted his shield to protect himself from the horse's hooves. The two are situated on a base that displays the Legion motto: Nec Aspera Terrent (Hardships do not deter us) above 1803-1816. The plaque is signed by H. Wedemeyer (1927, H. Bronze Plaque of Liberation of Prague by Frantisek Bilek

The liberation of Prague is depicted here in this bronze plaque by Frantisek Bilek (1907-1985).  The liberation started as a Czechoslovak uprising against the occupying Nazi German regime between the 5th to 9th of May 1945 and later joined by the Soviet Red Army.  The plaque shows citizens and Russian soldiers fighting their way to Prague Castle which is visible in the horizon.  The date of 5-9V 1945 is on the bottom right corner (V for the fifth month).
